Before I get ‘heavy’ today, I just want to say a
massive well done to my lunchtime girls for their
successful weigh and measure on Friday
They’re losing inches and pounds in such a short
space of time, it’s making me feel really good
about the programme and proving that 30 min a
day can, a few times a week can really make the
difference
If you are interested in a two week free trial, email
me back and I’ll set it up for you
Also, I’m changing the website just now, it should
be finished this week, so if you venture on there it
will look a bit disjointed and the links aren’t all
working yet…
Ok, so you need to go heavy
I’ve been cracking down on the ‘not so new girls’
at the studio recently to put the weight up on the
barbells and kettlebells
They think I’m being mean to them but the weight
has to go up – if you stay on the same weight,
you’re not getting stronger and you stop getting
the results that you are looking for
Yes it’s hard but only for a few sessions and then
it gets easier as you get stronger but here are
some tricks you can use until you’re strong
enough to handle the new weight full time
Go heavy and do less reps or sets
I would rather you chose the heavier weight and
did less, then build the reps and sets back up
again over the next month or two
Take your timeÂ
If you’re working with a heavier weight, it will
require more effort so take your time and add
plenty of rest in to recover. You are not going
to left heavier in the same time as lighter
just yet
Use a heavy and light combo
Switch between the heavy weight for one set
and the light weight for one set. Reduce the
light weight until you are using the heavy
weight full time
Get your mind set right
If you’re thinking ‘that’s too heavy’ or ‘I
can’t lift that’ then your brain has already
defeated your muscles. Instead approach
that weight like you will conquer it, no matter
what and you will lift!
If you really want to go heavier and need some
support, come and see me, I’ll help you 🙂
Email be back for a two week trial

p.s the new website might be a surprise, I’ve
gone with pink. I’ll let you know when it’s
ready for review xx
